✦ What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, hands-on energy practice designed to support the body’s natural ability to rest, restore, and rebalance.
During a Reiki session, clients lie comfortably while the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above different areas of the body. This quiet, restorative practice helps encourage nervous system regulation, reduce stress, and create space for the body to shift out of a constant “doing” mode and into deeper recovery.
Many clients experience Reiki as deeply calming — a chance to slow down, reconnect with the body, and support overall well-being.
At Solace, Reiki is often used as a complementary practice alongside strength training, bodywork, and other recovery modalities. It can be particularly supportive during times of high stress, transition, or when the body is asking for rest and integration.
Sessions are quiet, grounding, and designed to meet you exactly where you are.
